F.A.Q.
"Where did the name Bella Penombra come from? What does Penombra mean?"
Bella Penombra actually came to Katie one day while she was listening to Jason Mraz's song 'Bella Luna' and it clicked as she and Audrey had been trying to come up with a name for a MuggleNet-esque site for Stephenie Meyer's novels.
Penombra is an Italian version of the word "twilight" and with "bella" meaning beautiful as well as fitting with the narrator's name, beautiful twilight just clicked as the name of the site. And Bella Penombra sounded better than the English translation.
"Do you know Stephenie?"
In a word, no. Neither Audrey nor Katie have ever met Stephenie Meyer, but they have had the lucky opportunity to exchange a couple of e-mails with her. Katie recieved a fantastic e-mail from Stephenie for her seventeenth birthday as Audrey pestered the poor author into sending one, but as far as knowing Stephenie Meyer, that's as close as they come.
Have a question? Ask Katie or Audrey at Katie's e-mail or Audrey's e-mail.
